Sk8Cols : yeaa, to your ego Rlerblder : The double salchow is getting a mite easier on the take off edge for me, but still 2 foot landing. Sk8Cols : i detect a theme here :-) JLsk8tr : I don't get much height and only rotate if I hit the entrance right on the Salchow. SS8TOR : I do a blurb to get on a good outside edge and the loop is easier Rlerblder : Aaaahhhhh a theme. JLsk8tr : You need to look over your right shoulder on the loop take off. SS8TOR : I take an edge class where we do every move on our heels,if you lean foward you have to Sk8Cols : and might be a possible guest sometime SS8TOR : put on hockey skates! JLsk8tr : just got roller blades recently JLsk8tr : doing half jumps! Sk8Cols : cruel punishment SS8TOR : You have to stay back on those too Dance Edge : Copley's dance book is excellent. Roller blades screwed up my skating a little-felt SO different!! JLsk8tr : no toepicks! JLsk8tr : I got them at my skate shop; the people knew how to fit me as well as possible. SS8TOR : New rollar blades are coming soon.You buy the wheel part and mount it on a figure skate boot JLsk8tr : I heard that those won't work well. Rlerblder : Yeah, I got a nice little circular scar on my knee from doing back Xovers on 'blades. I fell. Sk8Cols : ouch SS8TOR : These have a toe pick so you can do all the jumps and also spin JLsk8tr : Figure skates aren't designed to have wheels, or something. Rlerblder : Yeah, I heard about those. SS8TOR : I saw a demo and they were great.It looked like ice sklating at the rollar rink Sk8Cols : other off ice ativities that are good for your skating? Dance Edge : Does Copley ice dance at all? Rlerblder : Harlick of San Carlos makes roller skates as well, so, maybe it might work. Sk8Cols : yes, copley is on her golds JLsk8tr : cost? Sk8Cols : she is working on the pair book SS8TOR : I roller blade in the kitchen.Good crossovers around the island!!! Rlerblder : How can you use a toepick on concrete, I wonder? Sk8Cols : your kitchen must be bigger than mine JLsk8tr : cost of figure boots/wheels? Sk8Cols : i killed myself with the skate spinner in the kitchen Dance Edge : Do you know if she has passed any of the gold dances at this time?
